Casa Shalom aims to provide a quality Christian education for not only the children that live at the orphanage, but also for children from the surrounding community. Colegio Shalom, the private school located on the orphanage's property, is open poor children from the area at a very low cost, in order to make a good education possible for all nearby kids. Kids like Sergio, right, study basic subjects like reading, math, science and history, as well as more advanced subjects like English, computation, local indigenous languages, music and more.
