'Tortillas and Coffee' as Baby Food?

Please take a moment to watch this video from last night's 20/20 with journalist Diane Sawyer. The video highlights the problem of chronic malnutrition in Guatemala. The problem hits close to home - the feeding center featured in this video is in Antigua, a town about 10 minutes away from Casa Shalom. There are brief moments of this video that are difficult to watch, but we ask that you take a moment to learn about the serious effects of malnutrition in Guatemala. Many of the children at Casa Shalom have been affected by extreme hunger, and several were even hospitalized for malnutrition before they came to Casa Shalom. We thank the Lord that the children of Casa Shalom no longer have to worry about where their next meal will come from, and in 2011, we hope to take in many more children at the orphanage.
